Moving to recycled/recyclable packaging

We are pleased to announce that  Blade & Rose are taking crucial steps towards becoming a more eco friendly business.

In 2022, we will be introducing brand new sustainable packaging. The new garments bag will be 100% recycled and 100% recyclable.  New mailing bags will be 60% recycled and 100% recyclable

Each year in the UK alone, approximately 2.2 metric tons of waste from plastic packaging is generated. Statistics show that around a fifth of our waste in the UK is made up of packaging. This is why it is so important to Blade & Rose to do their part for our planet by finding and implementing sustainable solutions to these everyday problems. 

Since Blade & Rose was founded back in 2011, ethicacy, sustainability and the environment have always been at the forefront of the brand's values. All Blade & Rose fabrics are certified Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®, meaning the fabrics are free from any harmful chemicals or substances. The brand also only use factories which are certified BCI - Better Cotton Initiative. BCI are a global, not for profit organisation and the largest cotton sustainability program in the world.
